1. Information We Collect

The App is built to keep your files private. The following describes how information is handled:

• Your video files (device-only): When you convert a recording, you select the file using your device's own file picker. The conversion is performed entirely on your device. Your videos are never uploaded to us or any server, and we never access files you have not explicitly chosen.
• Conversion history (device-only): Details such as file names, chosen formats, and timestamps are saved in a local database on your device so you can view your past conversions. This information never leaves your device.
• Advertising identifier & usage data: The App displays ads through Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK collects your device's Advertising ID, IP address, and limited app-interaction data in order to serve and measure advertisements, as described in the Google Privacy Policy.

We do not require an account, and we do not use any analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting services of our own.

2. App Permissions Explained

The App requests only the following permissions:

• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — Required by the Google AdMob SDK to load and display advertisements. The conversion feature itself does not use the internet.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Used to show conversion progress and completion notifications on Android 13 and above. You can disable these notifications at any time in your device settings.
• Advertising ID — Used by Google AdMob to deliver and measure advertisements.

The App does not request camera, microphone, or broad storage permissions. File access is granted on a per-file basis through Android's secure file picker.

3. How We Use Information

• To convert the video files you select, directly on your device.
• To keep a local history of your conversions for your convenience.
• To notify you of conversion progress and completion.
• To display advertisements through Google AdMob, which helps keep the App free.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not operate any server that receives your files or conversion data.

4. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob — Serves advertisements. Subject to the Google Privacy Policy and AdMob policies.
• Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — Used to present a consent form and record your advertising-consent choices where required by law.
• Google Play Services — Used internally by the AdMob SDK for ad delivery and device identification.

5. Consent & Ad Personalisation

If you are located in a region that requires it (such as the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland), the App will show a consent form, powered by Google's User Messaging Platform, before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice later from the App's settings where available, and you can reset or limit ad personalisation at any time on your device under Settings → Google → Ads.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Converted files are saved to the location you choose, and your conversion history is stored locally on your device. You can delete history entries within the App, and you can delete converted files using your device's file manager.

Uninstalling the App removes its local conversion-history database. Files you have already saved or exported remain on your device until you delete them yourself.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Security

Because your files and conversion history stay on your device, their security is governed by your device's own protections. We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a secure screen lock.

9. Your Rights

• Delete your conversion history and converted files at any time on your device.
• Grant or withdraw advertising consent where the consent form is shown.
• Reset or limit ad personalisation via your device's advertising settings.
• Contact us with any privacy-related questions or requests.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
